Auto Collision Group (“ACG,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, your choices (including California rights), and how to contact us.

This policy applies to our websites and forms, SMS/MMS messages, emails, phone/video calls, in-shop services (including diagnostics and photos), and CCTV where posted.


What We Collect

Contact & IDs: name, email, phone, address, VIN, license plate, driver’s license,
insurance/claim details.
Vehicle data: make/model, photos, diagnostic codes.
Transaction info: services requested, approvals, payments.
Online activity: IP, device/browser, pages viewed, cookies.
Location: approximate by IP; precise only if you share it.
Audio/Video: call recordings (with notice), in-shop CCTV (where posted).
Sensitive Personal Information (SPI): e.g., driver’s license number, precise location (if enabled), insurance claim details.


We collect only what’s reasonably necessary to provide and improve our services.


How We Use Information

● Provide quotes, schedule, repair, deliver/return vehicles, process payments.
● Communicate status and approvals (email/SMS/calls).
● Diagnostics, quality, warranty, safety/recalls.
● Security and fraud prevention; legal compliance and recordkeeping.
● Website analytics and improvement; optional marketing/ads (if enabled).
SPI is used only for necessary purposes (e.g., verify identity, prevent fraud, comply with
law).


How We Share Information

● With service providers/contractors (e.g., insurers, estimating/parts platforms,
payments, IT/hosting, analytics, SMS vendors) under contracts that restrict use to our
business purposes.
● For legal reasons, safety, or in a business transfer (merger, acquisition, assets).
We do not sell personal information for money.
Sharing for ads: if we use third-party advertising cookies, that may be considered
“sharing” under California law. You can opt out at any time.

Cookies, Analytics & Preference Signals

● We use cookies for core features, security, and analytics (e.g., Google Analytics).
● You can adjust browser settings and our cookie controls (where available).
● We process Global Privacy Control (GPC) and similar signals as a valid opt-out of
sale/sharing for that browser/device.
● We do not respond to legacy “Do Not Track” signals.


Text Messaging SMSMMS

● By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive texts from ACG
(may be sent via autodialer). Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply.
● Reply STOP to cancel; HELP for help.
● Carriers are not liable for delayed/undelivered messages.
● We use your number/metadata to send texts and for compliance; we do not sell this
data.


Calls & CCTV California

● We may record customer service calls for quality/compliance and will give notice/obtain consent where required (California often requires all-party consent).
● In-shop CCTV (if used) is for security/safety and is posted in store.


Your California Privacy Rights CCPA CPRA

Subject to verification and exceptions, you may:
Know/Access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected,
sources, purposes, and disclosures (including sale/sharing status).
Delete information we collected from you (with legal exceptions).
Correct inaccurate personal information.
Opt out of “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising (including via
GPC).
Limit the use/disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information to necessary purposes.
Data portability (where applicable) and non-discrimination for exercising rights.
How to submit requests: email info@autoacg.com, call 833-333-4224, or mail us (see
below). You may use an authorized agent; we may request proof of authorization and your verification.

We do not knowingly sell/share data of minors under 16.
Shine-the-Light (CA Civ. Code §1798.83): You may request a list of third parties to whom we disclosed personal information for direct marketing in the prior year and the categories disclosed.


Retention Simplified

Service & transaction records: typically 7 years.
Vehicle data: generally vehicle life + 7 years (for safety/warranty/legal).
Analytics/cookies: typically 13–24 months.
Calls/CCTV: calls 90–365 days; CCTV 30–90 days.
We delete or de-identify data when no longer needed for the purposes above or legal
obligations.


Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (e.g., access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, least-privilege, logging). No system is 100% secure; please use caution when transmitting information.


De-Identification

If we de-identify data, we keep it de-identified (except to test effectiveness) and require
recipients to do the same.


Changes 

We may update this Policy. The Effective Date above reflects the latest version. Material
changes will be highlighted where required.
